Taranaki
Sited on the
Western most part of the North Island and about half way between Auckland
and Wellington. Taranaki encompasses the area from
Mokau
in the north to Waverly in the
south and Whangamomona , Matemateaonga in the East.
New Plymouth is the city servicing Taranaki.
Mount Egmont/Taranaki
is situated
near the centre bordering the coastline.
There is something for everyone in Taranaki. Take The Forgotten World
Highway at Stratford and head east to

Damper Falls.
This
a good way to take up a day or so as there is heaps to explore on the way.
