Welcome to Sandspit Holiday Park. Our
beautiful beachfront family camp is located just 7km from Warkworth township and
is just a short stroll from the Kawau Ferry.
Sandspit Holiday Park is family-friendly where guests can enjoy safe swimming,
native bush walks and great channel and boat fishing right on their doorstep.
When you’re not relaxing in the park, kayaking around the bay or having a chip
on our 9-hole ‘chip and putt’ golf course, there are plenty of activities to
keep you entertained.
The surrounding area boasts a range of outdoor activities including close
encounters with sea life in the Goat Island marine reserve, wine tasting at the
popular local vineyards or walks along countless white sandy beaches and bays.

Goat Island Camping and Backpackers
We have two fully equipped kitchens with indoor and outdoor seating. Two
barbeque areas, and an outside fire in the evenings. Our communal area has a
pool table, TV and small library. The children have a play area close to the
communal area. Linen rental is an extra $5.00 per bed.
Our camp overlooks the marine reserve and is a five minute drive from the
village of Leigh which has a general store, gas station, take-aways, pub and
cafes.

Located 25 minutes north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge, on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast, fringing Red Beach. Red Beach is 2 kilometres long and is a safe sandy beach. Pinewoods also has a private beach “Jacobs Ladder” with safe swimming and fishing. Pinewoods is a perfect holiday location for all the family, providing motor home and caravan sites, tent sites and self contained family units. Pinewoods is also a good stop over place for tourists wishing to explore the top of the North Island.
