Far North Bed and Breakfast
Gunnypa's is set in in two
acres of beautiful park-like garden, well back from Far North Road (State
Highway 1).
Here in the Far North, you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this
partly-tamed, partly-wild garden in our warm sub-tropical climate - the
'winterless' north of New Zealand.
There is plenty of tea and coffee available, usually with a little home baking
to accompany it, in our comfortable lounge.
There are two guest bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two single
beds.

Carneval Ocean View which
affords magnificent panoramic vistas of Doubtless Bay is just a short stroll to
the safe swimming beach of Cable Bay, where guests enjoy lazing in the sun,
swimming or fishing. Your hosts Martha and Roly speak Swiss-German and French.
We provide Wireless everywhere in the house and
outside.
In the morning a Swiss Style breakfast is served on the terrace or in our
dining room with sea views. Roly is a qualified Swiss chef and we provide dinner
on prior request.

tranquillity, that promotes relaxation, yet only a 5 minute beach stroll from
Paihia town centre with shops, restaurants, clubs, cafes and tourist pier.
Allview Lodge in the Bay of Islands is absolute beach front and there is always
something to see with close up views of yachts sailing in the breeze and other
vessels passing by. Dolphins are often seen in the clear waters of Sullivan's
beach. The headland where Allview Lodge is situated is on the sea birds flight
path. The backdrop of native bush in the area attracts native bird life which we
have enhanced with our extensive landscaping and planting. Gardens are lit up at
night.
