offer lodge accommodation, ranging from backpacker bunk rooms to bedrooms
with ensuite facilities. All have park like settings, are friendly, fun
places to stay and are near or in some of New Zealand's most beautiful
places.

Our hostels are in prime
locations. Some are a little off the beaten track to give you a chance to
explore the many spectacular National Parks, ski fields and walking tracks.

Each of our hostels are unique. Generally they have separate sleeping and
bathroom facilities for males and females plus most provide single, double,

The Department Of Conservation
(DOC) manages over 200 vehicle accessible camping areas on conservation land
throughout New Zealand. They have three broad categories of campsites.
Serviced Campsites have
flush toilets, tap water, showers, rubbish collection, mown grass, access
for all vehicle types and usually some powered points. Many have BBQs or
fire places, picnic tables, a kitchen, laundry, shop, and caravan waste
disposal point
Standard Camp sites have
toilets, water supply, mown grass and vehicle access, some by boat only.
Facilities such as BBQs or fire places, picnic tables rubbish collection may
be provided.
Informal Camp sites have
a toilet and very limited facilities which may be just a place to camp.

Campground are also listed. Most are situated in the types of scenic natural
settings which New Zealand is renowned for. They are situated anywhere

Serviced Campsites are generally from
NZ$8.00 - NZ$12.00 per person per night.
Standard Campsites are generally from NZ$3.00 - NZ$10.00 per person
per night.
Informal Campsites are generally free of charge
Children 5- 16 are generally half the adult price.
